Definitely the go-to halal fried chicken in Korea! Located in Itaewon, it's perfect for satisfying your K-drama fried chicken cravings, haha! The place is near the Itaewon Mosque, and there are also plenty of other Muslim-friendly restaurants in the area.

Recently I got the chance to try the new Gosame branch in Hapjeong and honestly it’s worth every hype 😍 The best part is this restaurant is 100% halal so Muslim travelers and locals can enjoy authentic Korean food without worry. I ordered their Kimchi Jjigae and hands down it’s one of the best I’ve ever had. The broth was rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced with that spicy sour kick that makes you want to keep scooping more. Their spicy octopus is another must try, tender, perfectly cooked, and packed with flavor. And if you’re a fan of seafood, the grilled fish is fresh, smoky, and so satisfying. The only tip I’d give is to come early. This place is already super popular and the queue can get long especially during lunch and dinner hours. But trust me, the wait is absolutely worth it. If you’re looking for an authentic halal Korean dining experience in Seoul, Gosame Hapjeong should definitely be on your list ✨
