I tried Ayam Geprek Sambal Ijo in Kok Lanas recently and overall it’s a satisfying meal. The chicken is fried well and smashed to let the sambal ijo really cling onto it, so every bite has flavour. Sambal ijo starts mild but builds up heat slowly — good if you like spice but don’t want to get shocked from the first mouthful. Rice portion is fair, and the crunchy cabbage side helps balance the spice. Price is reasonable for what you get, especially with the combo options. What could be better: sometimes the sambal varies in taste (some bites sweeter, some more garlicky) and when it’s busy, the food arrives lukewarm. But for craving ayam geprek + green-chili sambal in Kok Lanas, this place mostly does well.
