Sky Dezato Cafe (Johor Bahru): Delicious Food and a Refreshing Stop (4.5/5 stars) Ratings: • Food: 4.5/5 (Tasty and well-prepared dishes; aglio e olio, carbonara, and desserts all praised) • Service: 4/5 (Friendly service) • Atmosphere: 4/5 (Friendly atmosphere; air-conditioned, a welcome respite from the heat) • Overall: 4.5/5 Donkey and I, along with our cycling group, stopped by Sky Dezato Cafe in Johor Bahru for a refreshing lunch break before heading back to Singapore. The air-conditioned cafe provided a welcome respite from the hot Malaysian weather. The cafe has a friendly atmosphere. We ordered a wide variety of dishes from their menu, which seemed to feature both Western and Asian fusion cuisine, with a nice selection of pastas and desserts. The food was all quite tasty. The aglio e olio was perfectly garlicky and well-balanced. The creamy carbonara was served hot and was rich and satisfying. The desserts were definitively delicious. Overall, Sky Dezato Cafe was a great choice for lunch before our journey back to Singapore. The air conditioning was a lifesaver on a hot day, the service was friendly, and the food was delicious. We highly recommend this cafe to other cyclists or travelers looking for a pleasant and tasty meal in Johor Bahru.

I absolutely love Sky Dezato! Their food is awesome, especially now that they've added more hearty options. I've been here countless times and tried all their shaved ice cream desserts—they're surprisingly good, even for someone picky like me! The shaved ice cream is beautifully presented. They bury small surprises like cake cubes, boba, peanuts, fruit, or sticky rice inside, depending on what you order. It's a delightful surprise every time. Their waffles are a hit too—super crispy even when they cool down, and they taste amazing. The café itself is adorable and quiet, perfect for chilling and hanging out with friends in the evening for teatime. Love this spot! Waiting time: less than 40mins i guess? 🫶🏻 Note: the pictures are from different dates

this café specialises in Japanese-style shaved ice (kakigori), waffles, soft serve ice cream and a variety of dessert creations. Highlights include the “Strawberry Cheesecake Kakigori” and other visually-appealing dessert bowls that are popular for social media posts.
