Empat Sekawan is a great pick if you’re looking for variety and a cozy dining spot. With a huge menu spanning local, Western, Japanese & more, generous portions, and nice ambience (plus a kids’ zone), it’s ideal for groups and family outings. The food is mostly good-quality, though some dishes may shine more than others. Prices are higher than simple cafés, and service can slow when it’s packed. For Muslim diners: many Empat Sekawan outlets are halal-certified (central kitchen is certified; some branches advertise halal status). Just double check the specific branch to be sure.
