Humble restaurant served the most delicous traditional malay kueh that I ever had! This warung also offered lunch menu with multiple dishes. Definetely will visit again if I’m in the area!

Okay, I know the name sounds funny but this café is actually really cool. Indie vibes, creative décor, music soft indie rock. I tried their pasta and chicken— both comforting and well made. The staff were nice, service a bit slow but they were polite about it. Chill spot for creative minds or anyone who loves quiet corners and good desserts.

This is the viral donut cafe in kuantan, taste goood! Just didnt like to line up 😂 you guys can try, now I know why its viral.

D’Pondok Western serves up a tasty mix of Western classics like chicken chops, spaghetti with grilled meats, fish & chips, and cheesy wedges—overall flavour is good and many customers like the juiciness of the meat and generous portion sizes. Prices are fairly reasonable for its ambience (RM20-RM30+ for mains) and the dine-in + delivery options are appreciated. On the downside, some diners feel the sauces (like black pepper) could be more robust, and there are occasional issues with consistency in side items (fries or coleslaw) being too salty or not quite fresh. Overall, D’Pondok Western is a solid choice when you’re craving Western food in Kuantan.

Had their nasi kerabu and seriously, it was so good! 💙 The rice wangi, kuah pekat and flavourful, ayam percik juicy gila. Portion besar, memang puas hati. The café itself cozy, clean, and staff all friendly, service cepat, senyum je. If you’re craving authentic nasi kerabu around Kuantan, this place is definitely worth a visit!

This spot is honestly such a vibe. Pasillo’s kinda hidden between buildings, an open café concept that makes it feel super cozy and breezy. Most of the food here is under RM20, which is insane for how good it tastes! I went at night, and the whole place just lights up with fairy lights — sooo pretty 😍 It gives that warm, chill energy, perfect for hanging out or just having a slow evening. Definitely a go-to if you’re around Kuantan and want something affordable but aesthetic.

Kuantan Pickers offers a cozy retro-kopitiam vibe with lots of nostalgic charm—old signage, antique displays, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere that makes it a favourite spot for brunch or relaxed breakfast. The menu leans local, with hits like Vietnam coffee, nasi dagang, roti bun bakar, and kuih-muis tradisional, all decently done, though some items (like scones or eggs) get inconsistent feedback (cold or slightly overdone) . Prices are fair, service is friendly, and the café is especially good if you come early (or expect queues and limited parking later), so it’s great for a casual, nostalgic food & coffee hang.

Patin U-Turn is a flavorful and aromatic dish featuring tender patin (catfish) cooked in a rich, spicy Thai-style curry. The blend of herbs and spices gives it a bold, authentic taste with just the right amount of heat. Perfect for those who enjoy strong, traditional Thai flavors. A must-try for curry lovers!

Here’s a short review of Mee Sup Setambung Mek Soho, Kuantan: The place serves up bowlfuls of mee sup (“setambung” style) that look generous, but many customers feel the flavour is pretty basic and tends to rely too much on stock or seasoning powder rather than bold depth. The setting is casual and relaxed (semi-D house with backyard style), good for leisurely meals. Downsides include long wait times, limited menu variety, and some people feel the prices are higher than what the meal delivers in terms of portion and richness.

sooo nice place quite small yet the sweet and pastries available are exquisite definitely recommend

I love how chill this café feels — super casual, a bit industrial but comfy. Tried their caramel macchiato and tiramisu; flavour balanced. The barista was friendly and even recommended dessert options. Music soft, seating luas, perfect for those who want a laid-back vibe with good food.

Char Kuey Teow Udang Selambok (Taman Tas, Kuantan) serves up a generous helping of prawns and noodles that many find value-for-money, especially when the ingredients like udang galah are fresh. The flavour is decent, though not everyone’s impressed—some reviews mention the char kuey teow being too “flooded” with sauce or not smoky enough, and occasional slow service (especially for drinks) can dampen the experience. Overall, it’s a solid spot if you want a hearty plate with prawns and don’t mind mild trade-offs in speed or texture.

Love love loveee! This restaurant is such a classic, they have all kinds of antiques inside, the interior design gives classic vibes. On top of that the food was just marvelous. Surau is just next to the restaurant ❤️
Quiet, relaxing café to spend an afternoon with a book or laptop. Coffee’s solid, desserts aren’t too sweet, and staff give you space without rushing. Simple but comfortable.

Super warm atmosphere. cozy lighting, wooden tones, and the smell of fresh coffee the moment you step in. I had their flat white and chocolate cake, smooth, creamy coffee and moist cake. Staff friendly, service quick. The vibe feels a bit like a small city escape. Definitely recommend for evening coffee sessions.
