What people seem to like: • The taste is considered quite close to authentic Thai khaomok / Hatyai style—spiced rice, fragrant, with good seasoning. Some reviewers say it reminds them of khaomok they’ve had in Bangkok / Hatyai. • The portion sizes are decent, and many feels the dish gives good value for its price in that food court. • The dish generally satisfies people craving something flavorful, spicy, and satisfying—especially the spiced chicken or side items. What could be better / common drawbacks: • Sometimes the chicken is not as juicy or as flavourful—some orders have been reported with dryer chicken or less seasoning. (Typical of many places serving spiced/grilled chicken on rice) • Sauce / sides (salad, cucumber, sambal etc.) can vary in freshness or attention—some say sides are good, others feel they are just average. • Being in a food court means ambience / comfort / seating may be basic; during busy hours, queueing and wait times will increase. ⸻ Verdict If you’re craving khaomok (spiced Thai-style rice & chicken), Nasi Khaomok Roro is a solid pick in Putrajaya. Tastes pretty close to what you’d hope for, decent portion, and value is good. Go during non-peak hours to get your food faster and with everything still fresh (especially the chicken + sauce).
