⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Unforgettable Wagyu Experience with a Beautiful View We came to Halal Wagyu Volcano to celebrate my wife’s birthday after visiting the nearby bamboo forest and temple, and it ended up being one of the highlights of our trip. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming and kind—once they found out it was her birthday, they even surprised us with complimentary wagyu nigiri, which was such a thoughtful touch. The food itself was outstanding. The wagyu was unbelievably tender and rich, clearly top-tier quality, and beautifully presented. Every bite felt special. On top of that, the view overlooking the river was stunning and made the entire meal feel calm, scenic, and memorable. Exceptional service, amazing food, and a gorgeous setting—this is a must-visit if you’re in the area, especially for a special occasion. We’ll be talking about this meal for a long time. Highly, highly recommended.

Chance upon this hidden jem. Located at level 2 beside a rental costume place. The wagyu volcano was simply delicious. So soft and tender. Wagyu lovers you must not miss it. Come early and you can choose the counter top where you can see the chef prepare the wagyu volcano for you. The meat was seared to the perfect texture. Also their natural dashi broth was just chef's kiss on top of the glistering rice. Their nori was also the perfect crispiness. No need to be a concern for language barrier. They can understand your hand gestures. Ordering through qr code. Worth every dollar spend!

Super satisfied with the food quality at Oogari Wagyu Volcano Steak Arashiyama restaurant. We had 2 Wagyu Volcano and 1 Wagyu Steak order for 6 pax. The portion could easily feed 3 people per menu if you're a light eater. What made it better is there is a prayer room prepared in the building to cater for your daily prayers. So you can eat, pray and enjoy Arashiyama without rushing. Would recommend the restaurant to add kid portion for halal option and karaage would be a nice touch.

We stopped into Wagyu Volcano Oagari because it came up as offering vegan options in our search. We always try to choose restaurants that can accommodate both of our dietary preferences. While the restaurant doesn’t actually have vegan items on the menu, the experience turned out to be incredible. After my husband ordered, the owner came over and kindly offered to create a special vegan meal just for me so I could enjoy dinner alongside him. These amazing ladies absolutely knocked it out of the park, it was hands down the best vegan meal I’ve had in Japan so far! I’m truly grateful for the hospitality, kindness, and willingness they showed in accommodating my dietary needs. Their warmth made our visit unforgettable. Highly recommend!

They give you halal and non-halal option because some of the sauce may contain alcohol or pork. I order this premium wagyu steak rice bowl medium rare, it was great but for my preference need a little more sear. The wasabi was so fresh unlike the one served in my country and it complement the richness of the meat. You can add condiments and sauces like soy sauce, togarashi, nori, shiso herb and by the way they're on progress of spicy sauce development (tried it and its really good, add the complexity of your dish). The ambiance was nice and warm. You can choose to seat on the bar, side or facing the window with breath taking river scenery. There's also prayer room. Service, superb. I wear hijab so they offer halal menu coz the one on the table were the non-halal one. I came at 11.40ish and there was no wait.
