As a Muslim student who recently moved to Busan, Half Moon has been my go to chicken place in Bupyeong Market. Couldn’t be more grateful for the hospitality we received there. The food is top notch, clean, coming with a respectful and friendly atmosphere. The owners have always treated me with warmth and the fact that they go above and beyond to understand their Muslim customers and try their best to provide services according to the religion is remarkable. I hundred percent recommend Half Moon to whoever visiting Busan and looking for good Halal food.

As a Muslim, I always prioritize halal food when traveling — and this spot truly impressed me. The fried chicken is outstanding — perfectly crispy on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside, and not overly greasy. The flavor is clean and well-balanced, allowing the natural taste of the chicken to shine. I even packed some for my son, and it remained crispy and delicious even after some time.
