Great breakfast place near our Airbnb. Nestled in an almost deserted elements mall, it’s quite surprising to find a well maintained bistro and cafe on the top floors. Food was great and service was better. There was a heavy thunderstorm the night before and disrupted quite a bit of the kitchen and seating equipment, so the staff were quite apologetic about delay in serving food. Surprised to hear that the cafe is owned by a Singapore entity. Price wise, it would have been quite expensive but after an Eatigo discount the prices became much more reasonable.

We came here for our anniversary and honestly, it was such a letdown. The ambience is really nice — cozy and romantic — but that’s about the only good thing we can say. For the price (over RM150 per person), we definitely expected more. We couldn’t even choose our own drinks or desserts. They just served us two kinds without asking, and the drinks were really watered down and didn’t taste premium at all. We don't even know what drinks we would get. The food was another disappointment. All four courses came almost at the same time, so by the time we got to the mains, they were already lukewarm. The lamb flap barely had any gravy and became jelak really quickly, while the mango smoked duck was okay but way too salty towards the end. The sup tulang was okay, but not amazing. The only dish we actually enjoyed was the tiramisu. To top it off, the waiter promised us a “Happy Anniversary” message on our desert plate, but even that didn’t happen. Overall, great ambience but bad food, below-par drinks, and so-so service. Not worth the price at all.

-Altitude Melaka, Wildseed Café & Bistro combines panoramic city and straits views with a leafy rooftop ambience. With artisanal coffee, floral-themed desserts and all-day fare, it’s stylish and comfortable for brunch or evening dining. Service is friendly though prices lean premium given the setting.
